Learning Question WOW launch – The Romans are Coming!

We had a wonderful day exploring the National Roman Legion Museum. We spent the morning looking around replica barrack rooms, exploring the exhibits and even learning about how the romans treated common illnesses! In the afternoon, we visited a roman bath, amphitheatre ruins and the remains of the barracks. A busy day immersed into the life of a roman soldier.

Learning Question WOW launch – Was the Stone Age really savage?

We came to school dressed as Stone Age cave people! We explored Stone Age artefacts and we experienced what it might have been like to make cave markings! We had a great day!

Trip to Bristol Museum.

Ahead of our term 5 learning, we visited Bristol Museum and took part in a workshop all about rocks! We identified the type of rock (igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary) using magnifying glasses and flow charts. In the afternoon, we took time exploring the rest of the museum and drawing some of our favourite exhibits.

Learning Question WOW Launch – What if I met a dragon!

A dragon arrived in our classroom! We role played what we would do if we met a dragon – it was lots of fun!
