Pastoral Care at North Road
The pastoral care team at a North Road consists of a range of highly skilled staff members, working within a variety of therapeutic roles, all dedicated to providing the very best well-being and pastoral support to our pupils and their families.
The pastoral team work closely and effectively together, led by the Pastoral Lead, Miss Karen Whiting. She works in partnership with our Pupil Premium Champion, Mrs Laura Hobbs. The flow diagram below shows how, through effective communication and a close working relationship, we are able to offer our pupils and their families the very best pastoral support. As a school, we are dedicated to ensuring that we meet the social and emotional needs of our pupils, particularly in relation to their physical and mental well-being. This in turn ensures that any barriers to classroom learning are removed and that all pupils can be focused, positive, confident learners and happy, outgoing members of our school family.
