Pupil Premium Strategy
The pupil premium is additional funding allocated to schools to help support disadvantaged pupils, closing the attainment gap between them and their peers. At North Road Primary School Pupil Premium is funding allocated to students who are children whose parents are in the services, children who have previously been in care, children who are eligible for free school meals and who have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years. This equates to 17% of our school population. The funding has contributed to a wide range of resources designed to maximise student potential in every possible way, e.g. extra teacher to teach interventions, strong inclusion team (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant, ELSA, therapist and education psychologists), and opportunities for extended school activities.

Due to us being a small school, children are easily identified, so more detail in regard to the impact would not be appropriate.
